For those of you that have seen Groundhog Day, the 1993 movie with Bill Murray, you will recognize the quotes above. This is exactly how I felt last thursday night. Check out what I was doing May 22, 2007 and 2008.

May 22, 2007
-- In Madison Wisconsin for a meeting with Holt Products
-- Eating Dinner at Capitol Grill
-- Received a call from Jaime saying she was going to hospital to have Reece
-- Finished dinner. Waited by the phone at hotel
-- Panic/Worry
-- No flights home until 6am the next morning
-- Caught the red eye. Paid out the nose to change flights
-- Got home just in time

May 22, 2008
-- In Madison Wisconsin for a meeting with Holt Products
-- Eating Dinner at Delmonico's
-- Received a call from Jaime. Reece fell hard, hit his head, vomiting, heading to get CAT Scan
-- Finished dinner. Waited by the phone at hotel
-- Panic/Worry
-- No flights home until 6am the next morning
-- Caught the red eye. Paid out the nose to change flights
-- Got home just in time

Lesson --- Do not travel to Madison WI on the 142nd day of the year

Catching Up

Okay, I know it's been over a month since I last blogged and I'm sorry. We are closing on the house this weekend and our lives have been upside down lately. Here is a quick catch up though on what's been going on.

My cousin Sara came to visit us last month and it was so nice to catch up. She lives in Nashville and when we were there with Olivia she was the one who helped keep me sane! We miss her so much!!

Mothers Day was great! David and the kids gave me a huge bouquet of roses and a shopping trip (alone) which was WONDERFUL. We also took my mom out to eat for lunch to celebrate. Here is a pic of us before lunch...how much do Reece and David look alike here???



Here is a picture of Reece wearing his helmet. He looks like he's ready for battle doesn't he? So far, he hasn't objected to it too much..hoping it stays that way now that he's learning to walk.


We just went to S. Padre last weekend for our annual family vaca with my parents. Here are some cute pics of the trip.

Since she was one of four in her class that are not going to Kindergarten next year (due to late birthdays) she handed out programs at the beginning to the parents as their "special" contribution. Here is a picture of her and her best friend in the class, Alyssa.
